I have 45 years of experience, and specialize in the field of chemical engineering with specific knowledge in the areas of chemical reaction engineering, biochemical engineering. Many years ago, I was approached by an academic colleague who was being sued by a chemical company for sharing information generated during consulting with another company. I showed to them that the only thing shared was equations that are common knowledge. The case never made it to court as the company settled out of court at no cost to my colleague.
