I have 22 years of experience and specialize in the field of geoscience, with specific knowledge of geologic harzards, extreme climate variability and geochronology. I have published on such topics as paleoseismic history, drought reoccurrence, and lake and sea level change. I am experienced in deciphering a range of geologic hazards, including seismic, flood and drought events and also lake level (Great Lakes) and sea level change. I have additional expertise in geochronology, having established and directed a Luminescence Dating Research Laboratory in a university setting for 22+ years.
