I have 22 years of experience, and specialize in the field of information technology (IT) management with specific knowledge in the areas of process analysis and management, project analysis and management and reducing IT risks. I have published on such topics as political, technical, and organizational issues in health care IT, interorganizational coordination and information sharing and radio frequency identification (RFID) applications in public health and business. I do practical management research that is very interdisciplinary. For example, in looking at telemedicine for pediatric critical care, I am investigating how stress, anxiety and fear influence who chooses to use telemedicine in this kind of situation, and how the expert and the non-specialist work together.
